Bengali television actress Pallavi Dey found dead at her Kolkata flat

Kolkata, May 15: Popular Bengali television actress Pallavi Dey, 20, was found dead on Sunday morning at her flat in Kolkata.

This follows recent deaths of Kerala-based model-actress Shahana and choreographer Tina Sidhu under mysterious circumstances.

According to police preliminary reports, the young actress Pallavi Dey had ended her life.

Pallavi had hanged herself to a ceiling fan at her flat when her body was found, according to the police.

She was immediately rushed to Bangur Hospital where the doctors declared her dead.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death and have sent her mortal remains for a post-mortem test.
