Kasaragod, May 14: Lions Club of Kasargod town honoured young writer and poet Hana Bovikanam. At the youth powering programme held at the Municipal Town Hall, former DGP Alexander Jacob IPS handed over the commendation plaque to Hana Bovikanam.

Kasargod Town Lions Club president Dilshad City Gold presided over the function. The event was organized as part of the innovative concept of Rise up Kasaragod. Irfad Maipady and Ramla Teacher took classes in various sessions. Kadha App Founder Ishan Mohammad shared his success story with students.

Hana Bovikanam and Ridha Mariyam preached. N A Aboobackar Haji, Abdul Kareem Koliyad, programme director Mohammad Rafeeq, programme co-ordinator Ameen Nayanmarmoola, Asharaf Aiwa, PRO Rashid, Treasurer Abdul Ashraf Ali attended the function.
