Mangaluru: Graduation Ceremony of FMHMC to be held on May 14

Mangaluru, May 12: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, is organizing the 32nd Graduation Ceremony on May 14 at Father Muller Convention Centre Kankanady, Mangaluru.

The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is recognized by National Commission for Homoeopathy and department of ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. It is a regional centre of ‘Pharmacovigilance’ under the ministry of AYUSH and identified as Centre for Training Programme in Clinical Research Methods for all MD (Hom) students of RGUHS. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited the College with ‘A’ Grade. The college has emerged as a premier medical institute in research, academic excellence, patient care and has rendered commendable and exemplary services to the society during the COVID pandemic. The Institution provides services to the community with the motto 'Heal and Comfort'. The college conducts Under Graduate programme and Post Graduate programmes in seven specialties.

The Graduation Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 10.00 am in the Father Muller convention Centre Kankanady, Mangaluru. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore Diocese and president of Father Muller Charitable Institutions will preside over the ceremony. The chief guest for the programme Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri and the guest of honour Dr K R Janardanan Nair, president, Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Homoeopathy, National Commission for Homoeopathy will honour the Graduands.

On this day, 99 Under Graduands will be graduating and 26 Post Graduates will be awarded with MD (Hom) degree. The University rank holders of the examinations declared by RGUHS in 2021 will be honoured. The meritorious students include 8 BHMS ranks out of 10 of 2016-17 batch, 9 MD (Hom) rank holders of different specialties of 2018-19 batch. This year Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College has secured term wise 31 Ranks in 1st year to 4th year BHMS and subject wise 127 Ranks with the tally of 166 Ranks.

The institution is happy to announce that its alumna Dr Dania P Johnson (2015-16 Batch), has been awarded with Gold Medal declared by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka for securing overall highest marks in BHMS examinations held from September 2016 to February 2020 and Awardee of CCRH Scholarship for Quality MD Dissertations in Homoeopathy Dr Gayatri Krovvidi, MD (Hom) Pharmacy of 2018-19 batch will also be honoured with a memento.

The president’s Gold Medal for the best outgoing undergraduate student will be announced and presented. And also the best outgoing Postgraduate student of 2018-19 batch will be announced and honoured.

Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, has been catering Homoeopathic treatment to the patients since 1985.
