Yamaha Music Square, the flagship outlet for Yamaha Musical Instruments has opened its doors in the city.
The store is located in Kadri on the busy Vyasa Rao Road off Kadri Kambla in the REB Crown Apartment complex opposite Maurishka Palace.
Yamaha Corporation started making musical instruments in 1887 and has a rich heritage in music. The first piano made in Japan was by Yamaha in the year 1900. This heritage in music is highlighted even today with its logo which contains 3tuning forks. The subsequent expansion into motorcycles happened in 1954 post World War 2.
