Udupi, May 9: The sea in this part has become rough due to the effect of cyclone. All the varieties of water sports are suspended here till further orders. The velocity of the waves in the Arabian Sea has turned high. Water sport activities, floating bridge and travel to the St Mary’s Island are restricted until further orders.
Tourists arriving from distant places to enjoy vacations are warned through the loud speakers not to get down to the water. The district administration has restricted movement of tourist boats.
