Udupi: MLC Manjunath Bhandary to hold GP level meetings in Padubidri, Uchila, Shirva, Kurkalu

Udupi, May 7: MLC Manjunath Bhandary, Congress Kaup block (south) will be holding gram panchayat (GP) level meetings within Padubidri, Uchila, Shirva and Kurkalu Congress district panchayat limits of elected and contested district, taluk and gram panchayat members, important leaders and party activists on May 9.

Udupi district Congress committee president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, former minister and KPCC vice president Vinay Kumar Sorake, Rajiv Gandhi panchayat raj organization district convener Roshni Olivera and Kaup block (south) Congress committee president Navin Chandra Suvarna will participate in the meetings.

The MLC has requested the elected Congress candidates, defeated candidates, all the former district panchayat, taluk panchayat and gram panchayat members, important leaders and activists to take part in the meetings in large numbers and make the programmes a success.

The meeting of Hejmady, Padubidri and Palimar gram of Padubidri district panchayat will be held at Narayanaguru Sabha Bhavana at 10 am.

The meeting of Ermal, Uchila, Elloor, Mudarangadi and Belapu gram of Uchila district panchayat will be held at Rajiv Gandhi training centre, Ermal at 12 pm.

The meeting of Shirva, Kuthyar, Majoor and Belle gram in Shiva district panchayat limits will be held at Sham square, Shirva at 3 pm.

The meeting of Kurkalu, Katpady, Innanje and Kote in Kurkalu district panchayat limits will be held at Jaycee Bhavan, Palligudde, Katpady at 5 pm.
