Mangaluru: Fathimath Zahra selected for state level Quran recitation competition

Mangaluru, May 7: Fathimath Zahra, first grade student of Kaikamba Al Bir School, is selected for state level Quran reciting competition for third consecutive year.

Zahra won the zonal competition which included competitors from Dakshina Kannada district and Kannur district of Kerala. Now she will be taking part in the Kerala-Karnataka state level competition.

Fathimath Zahra bagged first and second places in the last two years in the Istikama competition. She is the daughter of Mohammed Asif Faizi and Ayisha Shireen couple. She will be taking part in state level competition that is organized at Calicut on May 12 as per the information provided by Karnataka Al Bir coordinator Akbar Ali Addoor.
