Bantwal, May 6: Janapada Dibbana of Karavali Kolotsava, which is going to be held for one month at the Golden Park grounds of B C Road in the taluk from April 29 to May 29, was inaugurated by tahsildar Rashmi S R by beating Chende.
The programme is organized under the joint auspices of Chinnara Loka Mokeda Kalavider Seva Trust and Kannada and culture department.
President of Kalotsava committee Sudarshana Jain, founder and chief convener Mohandas Kottari, Chinnara president Janyaprasad, president of welcome committee Sarapady Ashok Shetty, vice president B Shetty Srishaila, office bearers Theerthaprasad Anantadi, Mohammed Nandavara, Shailaja Rajesh and Devappa Kulal were present.
The procession was magnificent with doll dance, chende beating, various dance forms, man horse, Veeragase dance etc.
