Bantwal: Moderate rain in taluk, house electrical circuit damaged

Bantwal, May 6: It drizzled throughout taluk from May 4 afternoon. Rain cooled the simmering heat that was affecting the people for some days.

At around 3 pm, heavy rains lashed B C Road accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Lightning struck house of Adam, resident of Kasba village and damaged the electrical circuit. As no one was at home during the mishap, no injuries occurred.

Revenue department officials visited the spot to assess the damage and loss.
