Bantwal: Civic worker assaults female colleague with broom stick

Bantwal, May 2: A case of assault has been reported from City Municipality Council by a civic worker on a woman colleague on Thyagaraja Road.

It is said that the victim Saroja (30) was assaulted by her male colleague Vinod with a broom stick. Saroja has been admitted to the outpatient block of a hospital.

Vinod threatened Saroja that she should not work in this place as she was an outsider and that she should leave her job.

This incident happened when the victim was performing her duty this morning, according to the complaint lodged with the police.

Bantwal Police have registered a case.
