Kundapura, May 2: The Poornahuti for Maharudrayaga conducted by Kundeshwara temple managing committee and the devotees was performed on Monday afternoon, May 2 in the leadership of Tantri Prasanna Kumar Aithal.

Temple managing committee president Krishnananda Chatra, Chatra Yaga welcome committee president Chandrashekar Kalpataru, secretary Subramanya Holla, Kishore Hegde, managing committee member Kidiyoor Sathish Shetty, Nagaraj Rayappanamata, Vishwanath Poojary, Jayananda Kharvi, Sathish, Veena H, Savita Jagadish, DySP Srikanth K, circle inspector Gopikrishna, urban development authority former president Manigopal, Hattiangady Siddi Vinayaka temple managing trustee H Balakrishna Bhat, Saukoor Durgaparameshwari temple managing committee president N Manjayya Shetty Sablady, Bengaluru’s entrepreneur Subraya Halambi, Seetarama Nakkattaya, Dr M Navin Kumar Hegde, Rajiv Kotian and Narayana Devadiga were present.

MLA visits

Kundapura MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Byndoor former MLA K Gopala Poojary and Kundapura municipal council former president K Mohandas Shenoy visited the spot of Maharudrayaga, received Theertha Prasada from the priest and returned.

The Poornahuti was performed for the Yaga that began on Monday morning. Thousands of people took part in the Anna Santarpane after Kalashabhisheka and Maha Mangalarathi and received prasada. Ranga Pooje Ashtavadhana procession was held in the evening.
