Mangaluru: State Legislative Council Government Assurances Committee's district tour from May 3

Mangaluru, May 2: The State Legislative Council Government Assurances Committee will be conducting a district tour from May 3. The committee comprises president B M Farook, members Ayanoor Manjunath, Shashil G Namoshi, K T Srikantegowda, U B Venkatesh, Chennaraj Basavaraj, Hattiholi. They will be conducting a study on pending assurances in industries, urban development, animal husbandry and the fisheries.

They will begin their journey from Bengaluru on May 3 and will remain in the guest house in Mangaluru after reaching. They will inspect in Netravati Auditorium on May 4 at 10.20 AM the pending assurances related to commerce and industry under nos 7208/2018, 7212/2018 and urban development department assurance no 7847/2021. They will be inspecting and holding discussions with officers of MRPL. MSEZ, ISPRL, NMPT and ODC road and Prava Line corridor.

They will meet at Netravati Auditorium at 4 PM and hold discussions over assurance nos 7208/2018, 7212/2018 and 7847/2021 of the departments of commerce and industry, family welfare, fire brigade, environment and fisheries. They will later stay in the guest house.

They will be holding meetings at Netravati Auditorium on May 5 regarding assurance no 7847/2021 with department of urban development and department of commerce and industry and assurance no 7016/2018 regarding sea erosion and fishermen’s issues.

They will meet again at 2.30 PM and discuss assurance nos 7847/2021 and 7016/2018 concerning the departments of urban development, commerce and industry, fisheries port and inland water transport, states a press release.
