Udupi: Yaduveer Wadiyar visits Uchila Mahalakshmi temple

Udupi Apr, 29: The scion of the erstwhile Mysuru royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar visited the renovated Sri Mahalakshmi temple Uchila here on Friday, April 29, 2022.

He visited the temple for the first time after the comprehensive renovation works were taken up at the Uchila temple/ He was received by the temple committee. He took the darshana of Goddess Mahalakshmi and received the prasadam. 

Vedamurthy Vishnumurthy Upadhyaya, the temple priest performed the pooja and distributed the prasadam. 













Later, speaking to media persons, he said that, “I have come here to take the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi after the renovation was completed recently. May goddess shower her blessings on all people with good health, happiness and wealth.”

Nadoja Dr G Shankar, honorary president, the temple renovation committee honoured him and handed over a momento as a token of gratitude. 

Gundu B Amin, president, temple renovation committee, Jaya C Kotian, president, Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha, Vasudeva Salian, president, temple administrative board,  Satish Amin, temple manager and others were also present on the occasion.
