Mangaluru: Fish factory tragedy – Green tribunal opines no safety measure cause for deaths

Mangaluru, Apr 28: National Green Tribunal conducted inquiry into the death of five labourers at Sri Ulka LLP fish factory at Permude near Bajpe on the outskirts of the city. It opined that the lack of safety measures and environmental protection is the cause of the tragedy.

The tribunal ordered to form a committee of five people and submit a comprehensive report after surveying the area and factory within two weeks.
