Bantwal: BJP's unique Kamalotsava at Oddoor farms on Apr 28

Bantwal, Apr 26: “A unique Kamalotsava will be held at Oddoor farms, Ganjimat under the leadership of BJP Bantwal block committee and MLA Rajesh Naik for party workers on April 28,” said BJP Bantwal block president Devappa Poojary.

Speaking to media persons at Bantwal party office on Tuesday, April 26, he said that the programme will be held from 9.30 AM to 5 PM. “About 15, 000 people including 50 BJP workers from 59 Bantwal booths will take part in it. BJP fans can also take part in it,” he said.

“BJP state president MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel will set the programme in motion. Dakshina Kannada district in charge minister Sunil Kumar, ministers S Angara, Kota Srinivas Poojary, BJP district president Sudarshan M and district BJP MLA will also take part. The inauguration will take only one hour. Party senior and junior workers will take part in the sports tournament in the company of MLA Rajesh Naik. Competitions in cultural and entertainment programmes, patriotic songs and folk songs will be held,” he added.

“The agricultural activities of MLA Rajesh Naik who has converted barren land as green revolution, dairy farming and beautiful nature can be relished. On the whole the programme will be like a fair,” he said.

“The concluding programme will be held from 4.30 PM to 5.30 PM. BJP workers from Bantwal and Mangaluru north are busy preparing for the programme. The programme is being held for the unity of the party,” said Devappa Poojary.

BJP block chief secretary Ravish Shetty Karkala, Ronald D’ Souza, Purushotham Shetty Vamadapadav, Ranjith Maira, Yashodhara Karbettu, Janardhan Bondala and others were present.
