Udupi: Zero Shadow Day 2022 observed at Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers Club

Udupi, Apr 25: Zero Shadow was observed at Udupi on Monday, April 25 at 12.29 PM by Members of Poornaprajna Amateur Astronomers Club.

The Zero Shadow moment was live streamed on YouTube on the club’s YouTube channel from 12.15 to 12:45 PM. Viewers watched as the shadows of objects disappeared and reappeared.

Students and teachers also conducted the observations from their homes of various household objects and reported with photos. People of Bhramavara and Kundapur can observe the phenomena on April 26 between 12:20 to 12:30 PM.

Dr A P Bhat, former principal and Dr Raghavendra, principal of Poornaprajna College Udupi were present.
