Karkala, Apr 22: “I have participated in the meeting of the candidates who contested elections on gram panchayat levels from Hebri, Ajekar, Kukkundoor and Bajagoli in Karkala and Hebri constituency, chief party activists and leaders. The lapses being faced by gram panchayat members were brought to my notice in this face to face meeting. I have assured them of taking suitable action in this connection,” said Manjunath Bhandary in the block Congress committee meeting held at Hebri.
Udupi district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Sanghatan district president Roshni, Karkala block Congress committee president Sadashiva Devadiga, Hebri block Congress committee president Manjunath Poojary, Udupi district vice president Sudhaker N Kotian, Neere Krishna Shetty and former block Congress president H Shekar Madiwal were present.
