Mangaluru, Apr 22: A case is registered in cyber police station of the city of an online fraudster who acted as friend of the owner of the company and got an amount of Rs 2.80 lac transferred to his account from the company’s account.

A stranger called the owner of a company and said that his car has met with an accident at Wayanad in Kerala and his wife and daughter are injured seriously. As he has to get them airlifted to Mumbai, he is in urgent need of money and requested the owner to transfer Rs 2.80 lac to his account. The owner of the company who believed the trickster asked his staff to transfer the amount. Accordingly, the staff transferred Rs 2.80 lac on April 14. Later, the owner came to know that he is taken for a ride by some online fraudster.

    Such tricks are going on here too.Dont believe them.First make sure your relatives are fine at home and then just keep off telefon.Or switch off fon.
