Bantwal, Apr 21: A taluk level health conference held at government higher primary school, Kalladka on Thursday, April 21 was inaugurated by Bantwal MLA Rajesh U Naik.

He said that the ICU bus from KSRTC providing medical facilities in villages has drawn the attention of the prime minister.

Expert doctors provided treatment, guidance and awareness in the conference held in the cooperation of the district administration, department of health and family welfare, district panchayat, office of the taluk medical officer, district Ayush department, women’s and children’s welfare department, Mangaluru and A J Hospital. The MLA inaugurated an exhibition held at the venue.

Bantwal tahsildar Rashmi S R said that the efforts towards Covid management were successful.

Goltamajalu gram panchayat president Abhishek Shetty presided over the programme. District health officer Kishore Kumar M, district family welfare officer Dr Deepa Prabhu, Goltamajalu gram panchayat vice president Laxmi Prabhu, department officers Dr Rajesh, Dr Badruddin, Dr Kishore, A J Medical college doctor Dr Akanksha, Bantwal CDPO Gayatri Kambali, Vitla CDPO Usha, Ayush medical officer Dr Manikarnika, Mangaluru taluk medical officer Dr Sujay Bhandary, district medical education officer Jyothi, Bantwal education officer Jnanesh, school development committee president Madhusoodan Aithal and headmaster Aboobacker Ashraf were present.

Taluk in charge medical officer Dr Vigneshwar welcomed. Dr Umesh Adyantaya rendered a vote of thanks. Health department retired officer Jayarama Poojary compered the programme.
