Mangaluru Feb 9: The poster of Arjun Lewis directorial Kannada movie ‘Strawberry’ is released.

The movie ‘Strawberry’ is produced by Rakshith Shetty under the banner Paramvah spotlight production. VJ Vineeth, Dia fame Deekshith Shetty, Shruthi Hariharan, Vijay Mayya, Chaithra Achar, Clanwin Fernandes play important role in the movie.

The movie has been shot across Mangaluru and Bengaluru. The movie is edited by Rahul Vasishta, Joel Shaman D Souza has captured the movie, music is composed by Prasad K Shetty.

Arjun Lewis previously directed Kannada movie ‘Lungi’. Apart from directing Strawberry movie, Arjun Lewis has pen down the movie as well.

Speaking to daijiworld.com director Arjun Lewis said, "Three years ago, I assisted my friend for a documentary and met a sex worker to know about their life. At the same time I read a book ‘Bharathiya Sulelokada Kathegalu’ written by Sukanya Kanarahalli. So I decided to take up the dark subject with cinematic style the story revolves around the life of sex worker. During the lockdown in March 2020, I started penning down the script titled Strawberry. When I informed Raj B Shetty about the script I got into touch with Rakshith Shetty who liked the script and also actress Shruthi Hariharan came on board to this movie. Rakshith Shetty is always been supportive who gave lot of freedom. We are planning to release this movie in the month of March or April on OTT platform."
