Kundapur, Jan 28: State minister for Social Welfare Kota Srinivas Poojary visited the Morarji Desai Residential School at Khambadkone here where a large number of children are infected by Corona. Out of 236 children in the school, 101 children are infected with the virus.

The infected children were accommodated separately. The minister assured that there is no need for anybody to panic.

All the medical facilities and basic needs will be provided, he said.

Mandala BJP president Deepak Shetty, former taluk panchayat president Mahendra Poojary, backward class department district officer Devendrappa Birader, gram panchayat president Sukhesh Shetty, panchayat members Uday Kumar Shetty, Sathish, Subrahmanya, Ramesh and Ganesh were present.
