Panaji: NCP Demands Mickky in Cabinet

Panaji, Dec 19 (TOI): The crisis in the Congress-NCP alliance deepened further on Saturday with the observer deputed by the NCP high command, Prakash Binsale, submitting a letter to chief minister Digambar Kamat that Benaulim MLA Francisco 'Mickky' Pacheco be inducted into the state cabinet by dropping one or both the ministers who are in the news-—revenue minister Jose Philip D'Souza and tourism minister Nilkant Halarnkar. With D'Souza and Halarnkar refusing to resign, the NCP high command deputed the party's secretary in charge of the Goa desk and its spokesman Binsale to Goa on Saturday to resolve the crisis dogging the party for the last three days.

The CM confirmed having received the letter, but said he would take it up with the Congress high command. "Yes I have received the letter," said Kamat.     NCP has done the right thing. These two ministers betrayed the party without taking permission from their party. They have ganged up to suppress Micky and everybody now knows who were behind Micky's downfall. However he has the public support. Nadia's case of suicide is the personal problem and no one knows the truth also no one should interfere in his personal life. This time the corrupt congress ministers who had the meeting with the 2 NCP ministers will loose the coming elections as every knows their credentials.
