Bioscience dept of Mangalore University closed after students test corona-positive

Mangaluru, Jan 23: According to reports, many students of a particular section of Mangalore University tested positive for coronavirus. The classes were suspended for the same reason for a week.

Students of the post-graduate section of bioscience started attending classes on January 17. Most of them showed symptoms of fever. On testing in the hospital all of them turned positive for coronavirus. Hence the classes are suspended from January 24 to 29 by the administration of the university.

Online classes will be held during the said period as per the announcement made by the coordinator of the university.
