Karkala: Feast of St Sebastian celebrated at Attur St Lawrence Minor Basilica

Karkala, Jan 19: The feast of St Sebastian was celebrated at Attur St Lawrence Minor Basilica on January 16, 2022.

Fr Paul Cuthinho, parish priest, Kera church, led the Eucharistic celebration of the day. The procession of the statue of St Sebastian was held on the occasion and prayers were offered. Fr Alban D'Souza, rector, spoke about the life of St Sebastian in his homily.

Fr Melwin Pinto, Fr Pradeep Cardoza, assistant parish priest and the devotees, were present on the occasion.

Due to the Covid - 19 scare, the annual feast of St Lawrence shrine has been postponed indefinitely.
