Panaji: Staff test positive for Covid – Raj Bhavan closed for visitors till Jan 23

Panaji, Jan 18: Many staff serving in the Raj Bhavan have tested positive for Covid. So the Raj Bhavan will be shut for visitors till January 23 as per the statement given by Sreedharan Pillai, joint secretary to the governor.

Gaurish Shankhwalkar, joint secretary to the governor also said that the public will not be allowed inside Raj Bhavan till January 23 as many of the staff members of the governor’s house have tested positive for Covid.

Public is requested to give all the letters, files and other forms of correspondence at the main gate. Office of Raj Bhavan can be contacted for all other emergencies, said the joint secretary.
