Udupi, Jan 17: The Paryaya of Krishna Math in the temple town this time is all set for pomp and gaiety in the 500 years old history of Paryaya. The Paryaya this time will be of Krishnapur Math, one among the eight maths or Astha Mathas.

The Sand Theme team of Udupi created a 4 x 7 feet wide sand sculpture titled "Paryaya Utsava Moorthy" in order to convey their best wishes on the coronation of Vidyasagar Theertha Swamiji, the seer of Krishnapur Math.

The sculpture was created at the Malpe sea shore by Harish Saga, Jai Neralakatte and Santhosh Bhat.
