Udupi: Ophthalmology department inaugurated in Adarsh Hospital

Udupi, Jan 15: The newly opened ophthalmology department was inaugurated at Adarsh Hospital Udupi on Friday January 14. Admaru Math's Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji inaugurated the new facilities at the hospital.

Ophthalmology department is headed by Dr Abhijith Kumar. He is an experienced faculty in eye care and allied departments which facilitates eye testing, glaucoma testing, cataract test, and other allied tests. Doctors will be available at the OPD from 9 AM to 7 PM daily.

Adarsh Hospital has been a well-known name in the healthcare sector. Started in 2005 under the able leadership of Dr G S Chandrashekar, the hospital has created its own identity in the healthcare sector. With experienced staff and specialists, Adarsh Hospital has been known for its care. Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric and neonatology, emergency services are available in the hospital.

    Congrats to Dr. G. S. Chandrashekar and his dedicated team in the ever-growing Adarsh Hospital. I was an in_patient patient when I was on vacation from New York, that was a couple of years back. I cared very well. Good luck as your Othamolgy opens.
