Mangaluru, Dec 3: Bajpe police arrested notorious interstate thief Abbas alias T Abbas alias Miyapadavu Abbas alias Nazeer alias Ibrahim on the morning of Thursday, December 2 and confiscated gold worth Rs five lac and a bike from him.
Abbas was involved in more than 20 cases of theft in houses, stealing of gas cylinders, bikes, mobile of Jacintha of Ganjimutt D’Cunha complex and also valuable teak wood theft.
Cases are registered against this notorious criminal in police stations of Konaje, Ullal, Beltangady forest department, Kerala Kumbla police station and Manjeshwar.
Abbas had stolen worth Rs five lac from the house of Ahmed Bawa, resident of Pallangadi in May 2020. He was underground donning various names and changing his location frequently in places like Beltangady, Kadaba, Ramakunja, Puttur, Ullal, Kumble in Kerala, Manjeshwar and other places.
