Mangaluru, Dec 2: ‘Free Bone Mineral Density’ and ‘Free Neuropathy Detection Camp’ is being organized by SCS Hospital on December 4 and 5 from 9 am to 4 pm. The camp is open to the general public.
The ‘Free Bone Mineral Density Camp’ will be conducted on Saturday December 4. Estimating the bone mineral density helps in prevention or early diagnosis of conditions like osteoporosis.
The ‘Neuropathy Detection Camp’ will be held on the December 5 at the hospital. Neuropathy refers to nerve damage and the camp aims to detect any level of nerve damage in people especially in diabetics.
The camp will be conducted by experienced doctors and the hospital team. Patients can undergo free assessment on bone density and nerve damage levels in addition to diet counselling. Dr Jeevaraj Sorake, chairman and managing director of SCS Hospital has requested the public to take maximum benefits from the camp.
