Mysuru, Dec 2: As their parents were not agreeable for their proposal to get married, both the lovers ended their lives together in a private lodge near St Philomena Church in the city on Tuesday December 1.
The deceased have been identified as B G Sathish (21) from, Bommalapura village, Gundlupet taluk, and Varalaxmi (20), a nursing student.
Sathish had completed his education and was searching for a job. Siddalinga Nayaka, father of Varalaxmi, had asserted that he will agree to the alliance only if Sathish is able to bag a government job. But the couple reportedly decided to end their lives as they felt that getting a government job may not be possible.
