Kundapur: Tahsildar visits houses, persuades people who refuse to get vaccinated

Kundapur, Nov 30: Brahmavar tahsildar Rajashekaramurthy visited several houses in Kota gram panchayat limits and made the residents who refused to get vaccinated change their minds.

Speaking to news reporters, he said that new variants of Coronavirus are being found in other countries. “Therefore, the people who refused to get vaccinated are persuaded during visits to houses so that they may change their minds. Local officials are directed to make people leave the fear of Coronavirus vaccine; create awareness so that all the people may get the jab. All the grams are being visited and vaccines are being distributed listening to people’s apprehensions. We are working for 100% vaccinations in Brahmavar taluk,” he said.

Kota revenue inspector Raju, Kota village accountant Cheluvaraju, assistant Raju Kunder, asha workers and Kota community health centre staff members were present.
