Beltangady: Book on Dr D Veerendra Heggade released

Beltangady, Nov 29: “I am living naturally without any fake mask. The release of the book has made me stand in front of the mirror and introspect myself,” said Dharmastala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.

He was speaking in the release of the book ‘D Veerendra Heggade : Dristi – Srasti Grantha’ with the collection of articles about Dr Veerendra Heggade by Dr M Prabhaker Joshi at the residence of Dr Heggade on Sunday, November 28.

“What we listen everyday gives us new experience. I patiently hear the problems and grievances of thousands of devotees arriving to Dharmastala every day and acknowledge them with suggestions and guidance. Every day and moment is diverse and changeable providing me special experience of the world, joy, happiness, peace and comfort. A mass of devotees is prepared today to provide all the type of cooperation to Dharmastala,” he said with joy.

He congratulated Dr Prabhaker Joshi for his research, observation and collection of details to write the book.

Professor S Prabhaker, vice president of S D M education institute, Ujire who released the book said that he has been watching the growth of Dr Heggade since his childhood and opined that he has complex, amazing and special personality.

Dr Prabhaker Joshi welcomed. Ujire Ashok Bhat rendered a vote of thanks.

SDM educational institute secretary Dr Harshendra Kumar, Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishad unit president Dr M P Srinath, senior Yakshagana artiste K Govinda Bhat and retired journalist Mundaje resident Srikara Rao were present.
