Panaji: Movie Review - Golmaal 3 in Goa Beach Babes, Lot of Fun for Splits

Special Correspondent

Panaji, Nov 15: For a normal Goan (person living in Goa or belonging to Goa), the major attraction for Golmaal 3 is the fact that the film is extensively shot in the state. And for those who often cross Old GMC complex in the city, they will vividly remember seeing the shooting happening here.

The film, which is considered as the first ever triology in the Bollywood, leaves the audience in splits. But for those who will like to make sense out of it, better avoid watching it.

The story line is simply unrealistic but all the deficiencies in the film are made up with the humour which is filled in every second of the film. Mithun Chakraborthy after two decades dons the dress of Disco
Dancer in one of the sequence. It’s a sort of action replay.

Rohit Shetty has taken Bollywood’s selected talent Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Mithun Chakraborty, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Ratna Pathak-Shah.

Johny Lever is out of the world in this movie. The King of Comedy is
at his best in this movie. Body language of Johny is unbeatable.

The plot of this film revolves around two families. One headed by
Pritam (Mithun) who has adopted three orphan boys and Geeta (Ratna
Pathak-Shah).

The confusion between two families, love story of Pritam and Geeta in
flashback. Two notorious goons played by Johny Lever and Mukesh Tiwari
and stealing of a diamond necklace stolen by Johny.

The film ends with lot of action. Scores of vehicles smashed in the
melee. And lot of laughter.Golmaal 3 is much similar to its earlier
versions. It leaves the audience with no message to go back home
except for the memories of they laughing their heart out in the
auditorium.

And not to forget, Goa beaches and bikini clad babes also makes
highlight of this movie, which was released on Diwali and still
running houseful in many theatres.
