'Twilight' Puts Others in the Dark at People's Choice Awards


Los Angeles, Nov 10 (DPA) Vampire saga "Twilight" snagged eight nominations Tuesday for the People's Choice Awards, including individual acting nods for Kristin Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

The nominations were selected online by over 35 million fans. Winners will also be selected by online voting. The award ceremony will take place Jan 5 in Los Angeles.

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" will compete for favourite movie with "Alice in Wonderland", "Inception", "Iron Man 2" and "Toy Story 3".

Musical show "Glee" led the television nominations with five nods, including favourite TV comedy, where it will compete with "The Big Bang Theory", "How I Met Your Mother", "Modern Family" and "Two and a Half Men".
