Bantwal: Kharge's granddaughter marries youth from Bantwal

Bantwal, Oct 27: A youth from Veerakamba, Bantwal, married the granddaughter of veteran Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge. The marriage was solemnised at a grand function held at the palace ground hall in Bengaluru on Monday October 25.

Panini Bhat, son of A T Harishankar and Vijayalaxmi couple from Gilkinja, Veerakambha, married Prarthana, who happens to be the daughter of Jyashree, daughter of Mallikarjun Kharge, and Radhakrishna. State and national level dignitaries participated in the marriage.

Both the groom and the bride are lawyers. They were working for a firm during which period they fell in love with each other. After getting the consent of both the families, they exchanged wedding vows.
