Mangaluru: ‘Daanutsav’- Programme organized by Social Service Wing of BBA

Mangaluru, Oct 26: The Social Service Wing of II- and III-year BBA programme of College of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, City campus, Pandeshwar Mangaluru organized ‘Daanutsav’– a food grain donation program under Social Service Wing on Monday, October 25, 2021. The core purpose of this program is to inculcate the spirit of care and share towards the society among the students.

The students donated food grains to Prem Sadan Ashram- Kadri, Mangaluru which functions under the Director of Alwyn to make Mangaluru destitute free; and tries to rehabilitate those poor and Children’s Home.

Nearly 200 students have actively participated in this programme. Alwyn, the director of Prem Sadan Ashram Mangaluru was the chief guest of the programme. Alwyn spoke a few words about Ashram. Dr P S Aithal, Vvice chancellor addressed the gathering with his motivational speech. Dr Laveena DMello, dean, department of College of Social Sciences and Humanities, encouraged the student to do more NSS activity programme.

The programme was held under the guidance of professor Keerthan Raj, dean, department of Management and Commerce. Srinivas University. Professor Nelson Pereira, course co-ordinator of BBA department. Dr Sonia Delrose course co-ordinator of BBA Port Management department. Kanchan Kumar- student welfare officer and other faculties of the department were present. Shilpa K, NSS co-ordinator, department of Management and Commerce rendered vote of thanks. Amina SuhaIshaque, third year BBA honor student, compered the programme.
