Bantwal: MLA Rajesh Naik receives grievances from people about applications for various purposes

Bantwal, Oct 25: Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippady received at Mini Vidhan Saudha, B C Road on Monday, grievances from people about the applications in the revenue department and other departments and gave directions to the officials not to delay disposal of applications.

The MLA looked into 92 applications in the presence of tahsildar Rashmi S R and asked the concerned officials to dispose them of.

A lady informed that a drain hinders construction of a road at Sajipamooda, Kolake. The MLA immediately contacted taluk panchaya EO and asked to solve the problem soon. Former district panchayat member Tungappa Bangera said that the survey department does not conduct people’s work. Municipal council members Govinda Prabhu and Hariprasad said that the disposal of applications by people without land is getting delayed. The MLA asked to conduct a survey soon.

The MLA asked tahsildar Rashmi S R to take action on the application for land for temple health centre submitted by Sarapady gram panchayat member Ramakrishna Mayya.

A person at Narikombu grama said that the amount of Rs 45 thousand approved as compensation for the damage of his house is insufficient. The MLA issued him a cheque for Rs 45 thousand on the spot. The rejected 95C application by Kamaje resident Sudha was reviewed and the title deed was issued on the spot.

The MLA asked the tahsildar to pay compensation for the family members of a person from Narikombu who died due to Covid at Mumbai. The tahsildar said that the matter will be brought to the notice of the deputy commissioner.

Former MLA Padmanabha Kothary, former district panchayat member M Tungappa Bangera, Kamalakshi Poojary, Booda president Devadas Shetty, BJP president Devappa Poojary, district chief secretary Ramadas Bantwal, block chief secretary Dombayya Arala, Ravish Shetty Karkala, Akrama Sakrama committee member Ramanath Rai, backward class department chief secretary Purushotham Salian Narikombu, Ranjith Maira, Vishwanath Chandthimar and Pranam Ajjibetu were present.

Taluk office’s grade two tahsildar Kavita, assistant tahsildar Narendranath Bhat, Diwaker Muguliya, Navin Benjanapadavu, Vijaya Vikrama, Rajesh, revenue inspector Dharma Samrajya, Kumar, Manjunath and first grade assistant Seetaram gave explanation to the applicants in the presence of the MLA.
