Belagavi: Two candidates copying answers with micro devices held

Belagavi, Oct 25: The police have arrested two candidates including a woman, who were found to be copying the answers in the written exams for the posts of civil police constables held here on Sunday October 24, by using bluetooth micro devices.

The arrested candidates are Laxman Asiroti from Masaguppi village, Gokak taluk, and Saraswati Pujari from Tagadi village. Both were writing the answers by using bluetooth micro devices. They had appeared for the exams in different centres.

A 12-member team which was sending answers to the candidates through the bluetooth devices stands arrested. Most of the members of the team are intelligent people who have faced competitive exams successfully, it is learnt. 33 mobile phones, nine MasterCard devices, 19 bluetooth devices, one laptop and a car have been seized from their possession.
