Hassan: Uniformed policemen consume liquor, get suspended from service

Hassan, Oct 20: After the video of two uniformed policemen consuming liquor went viral, district superintendent of police, Srinivas Gowda, has suspended two police personnel of Pension Mohalla station here from service.

The suspended police personnel are Rangaswamy, assistant sub-inspector, and head constable, Rame Gowda. Someone even questioned the policemen about having liquor when in uniforms, and the policemen are heard admitting that they had committed a mistake. "If you object, we will go away halfway through. Because of festival, we are having liquor but we know we are wrong," they are seen admitting.

It is said that this incident happened a few days ago but on Tuesday the video clip became viral.
