Puttur: Two buffalo carcasses found from bushes

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Oct 18: Carcasses of two buffaloes were found to have been disposed of inside the bushes at Halegate here by the side of national highway 75. It is believed that this could be the handiwork of illegal cattle traffickers.

After these two big size dead buffaloes were found in the bushes, the police were informed. Later, with the help of Hindu organization activists, these carcasses were disposed of.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad has urged the police department to take steps against the traffickers who many a time take the stolen cattle in containers on a regular basis.
