Puttur, Oct 18: A video of people coming to blows during a discussion on the appointment of Samyukta Qazi has become viral on social websites.
On October 15, a meeting chaired by Ansaruddin Jamaat Committee president, L T Abdul Razack Qazi, was held in the Madrassa hall of Badriya Jumma Masjid here to choose Puttur taluk Samyukta Qazi.
At the meeting, it was menioed that some Jamaats had already decided to have Assayyed Sayyiduna Shaikhuna Sayyadul Ulema Jifry Tangal, president of Samasta, as Puttur taluk Samyuka Qazi on October 29. Salmara Shariff objected to this decision and took the president to task. Many others objected to Shariff's aggression at which discussions, frictions and jostling was witnessed. Later, the leaders settled the dispute through conciliation. But video clips of the incidents have become viral.
