Mangaluru: St Agnes CBSE school students bag prizes in Hindu-MCF painting, singing competition

Mangaluru, Oct 18: On behalf of Azad Ki Amrit Mahotsav India celebrating 75 years of Independence, The Hindu- MCF Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd organised inter-school painting and patriotic solo singing competition. Around 40 students altogether from various schools around the city have won in various categories. It was conducted in the junior and senior categories.

The topics for painting under junior category were '75th Independence Day celebration' or 'Save environment' or 'My favourite freedom fighter'. Under senior category 'Unity in diversity' or 'India’s youth in development' or 'Indian agricultural scenario'.

The students of St Agnes school, Siona Chrisil of Grade VIII under senior category and Pooja of Grade V under junior category participated in the competitions and have bagged the consolation prizes in painting and patriotic singing competition.

The management, the administrator, principal and the staff congratulated the winners for their best efforts and also the parents for their constant support and encouragement.
