Mangaluru: Dog bites police constable, civilians who rushed for its rescue

Mangaluru, Oct 17: A dog, which was injured in an accident, bit the traffic policeman and two civilians who rushed to its rescue.

A police constable and two passers-by were bitten by the dog that was lying injured after an accident on the Netravati river bridge.

The police constable was on patrolling duty on Saturday. He saw a dog lying on the bridge after getting injured in an accident. He went near it and tried to give some treatment.

The dog which was writhing in pain bit the cop as well as two civilians who went for its aid.
