Beltangady: Tree gets uprooted, man crushed to death

Beltangady, Oct 16: A tree standing in the courtyard of a house in Puduvettu in the taluk got uprooted all of a sudden on Friday October 15. A person suffered extensive injuries and passed away as a result.

The life of Adam Saheb (61) from Samedakalapu Varasari house in Puduvettu was taken away by the fallen tree.

Adam Saheb was standing in his courtyard when a tree located in a corner of the courtyard unexpectedly got uprooted along with its roots and fell on Saheb. He suffered grave injuries. He was provided initial treatment in a nearby private hospital and then taken to a private hospital at Mangaluru. But his life could not be saved, it is gathered.
