Mangaluru, Oct 16: The deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district has permitted the theatres, multiplexes, cinema halls, auditoriums etc to operate with 100 percent seating capacity from October 14 onward. This has been done in view of the fact that the corona positivity rate in the district came down to 0.46 percent. However, they have to adhere to corona guidelines.
Those who have been vaccinated with both the doses of the vaccine are permitted to enter these theatres. Senior citizens and pregnant women have been advised not to visit these places.
