Mangaluru: Carmel School organizes workshop on ‘Learning Styles of Students’

Mangaluru, Oct 12: Carmel School, Mangaluru organised two workshops on October 9 to11, on the topic ‘Learning Styles of Students’ for the students of 9th and 10th and on ‘Specific Learning Disability’ for the faculty by Dr Shwetha Kamath, student counsellor and NLP practitioner.

The students actively participated in the session and were able to identify their style of learning (VARK) Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic and Reading/Writing.
In the workshop for teachers, they could relate the situation of the students and the difficulties that they go through and also interacted with the speaker about their experiences in the classrooms and the measures that they take to help the students with Learning Disability.

The session began with a prayer. Lolita and Anusha compered the programme. Pavithra and Amitha proposed the vote of thanks. Principal, Sr Sarika and the administrator Sr Rose Agnes were present for the workshop.
