Mangaluru: SJEC signs MoU with Kanara Industries Association

Mangaluru, Oct 9: Intending to strengthen its industry connect, St Joseph Engineering College, (SJEC), Mangaluru, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kanara Industries Association (KIA), Mangaluru. The main objective of this MoU is to enrich the technical management education process, therefore, to jointly work for enhancing the quality of education and training imparted to students.

The MoU was signed by the Director of SJEC, Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, and the president of KIA, Ajith Kamath Kandel in the presence of Robin Jose, Joint Secretary of KIA, Fr Alwyn D’Souza, Assistant Director of SJEC, Rio D’Souza, Principal of SJEC, Dr Prakash Pinto, Dean of MBA and Dr Shakila B, Associate Professor, MBA were present.

One of the major outcomes of the MoU is the enhancement in the quality of educational experience of students of SJEC while assisting the faculty members to work on real-time management problems in the field of Human Resources, Marketing and Financial Management in the organization and conduct research to address these issues at no cost.
