Kaup, Oct 6: Kaup Block congress staged a torch light march condemning the anti Hindu rules of state government and anti farmer laws of Central government on Tuesday October 6.

The torch light march began from Kaup Laxmijanardhana temple. A protest meet was also organized in Kaup town.

Addressing the protest meet Sudhir Kumar Maroli said, “Proclaiming to build and save the temples they came to power but later on they themselves destroyed the temples. Hindu Dharmarakshkas are involved in anti religious activities. Due to BJP nation's honour is brought on roads. Claiming to make India as Vishwaguru they have disgraced the honour of Bharathmata”.

Speaking at the protest meet ex minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “BJP is involved in destroying the historical temples, along with corruption, rape and misdoings. BJP leaders were protesting in roads when the prices were increased during UPA rule. But now they are completely silent. Due to the BJP’s misdoings the nation has lost its honour, All the Congress men should join hands together to overcome these misdoings and misconducts of BJP” he said.

KPCC leader Navinchandra J Shetty, Dr Devi Prasad Shetty Belapu, Kaup block Congress president Navinchandra Suvarna, Deepak Kotian Inna, Geetha Wagle, Wilson Rodrigues and others were present during the protest.
