Mangaluru: Mehendi competition held at Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College

Mangaluru, Sep 30: The art of mehendi reflects the rich Indian culture, bringing together the knowledge of medicinal herbs with many lovely sentiments and beliefs. A competition on mehendi designing was organised by Ladyhill Victoria PU College to enhance the creative skills and explore the potential in the students.

The participants expressed their ideas through beautiful designs on their own hands. Time limit of 1.30 hour was given. The competition was held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 1.30 pm onwards.

The students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and had an opportunity to display their innate talents. Each design prepared by the students was a pleasure to behold. The judges were Anitha Coelho, Bindu Anthony and Roopa Shetty. The criteria for judgement was creativity, design and neatness.

The judges were astonished to see the commendable efforts of the participants. The selection of the winners was also quite a difficult process.
