Mangaluru, Sept 27: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organized a guest lecture on ‘Cryptocurrency’ at its campus at Bondel, Mangaluru on Friday, September 24. The chief guest and resource person was CA Anwesh Shetty, a chartered accountant and law student.

He enlightened the MBA students about block chain technology and decentralized networks. His presentation included examples of ‘virtual tokens’ and live demonstration of the public ledger and bitcoin transactions. He highlighted several examples of bitcoin mining in the real world and how cryptographic algorithm backs cryptocurrency. He shared deeper insights on how block chain is embedded in our daily life in these recent years.

Large number of students attended the session and learned from an expert who has professional and practical knowledge in the field.
